Omaha Theatres & Auditoriums
Constructed in 1927, the 2600-seat Orpheum Theater is host to performances by Opera Omaha, the Omaha Symphony and various other local performing arts groups. The facility went through a $10 million dollar renovation in 2002 resulting in upgraded seating and acoustic improvements.
The Omaha Community Playhouse has a long and colorful history that includes performances by Marlon Brando's mother and Jayne, Henry and Peter Fonda. The Playhouse presents a dozen volunteer and community-supported productions each season.
The Holland Performing Arts Center was newly constructed in 2005. It hosts performances by the Omaha Symphony, as well as other musical and cabaret artists, speakers, lectures and special events.
