Omaha Theatres & Auditoriums
Constructed in 1927, the 2600-seat Orpheum Theater is host to performances by Opera Omaha, the Omaha Symphony and various other local performing arts groups. The facility went through a $10 million dollar renovation in 2002 resulting in upgraded seating and acoustic improvements.
The Omaha Community Playhouse has a long and colorful history that includes performances by Marlon Brando's mother and Jayne, Henry and Peter Fonda. The Playhouse presents a dozen volunteer and community-supported productions each season.
